Your Best Week Ever, is a 5-day event, September 26 - 30, that will help entrepreneurs redefine a business that actually works for them, create a structure to feel productive and profitable, without overwhelm, and to repeat that structure over and over again - weekly, thus by having the best week ever, always. We want our attendees to fall in love with their businesses again!

How it'll all works

THE EVENT

This event will run from Monday, September 26 through Friday, September 30 with 4-5 pre-recorded presentations running each day. These presentations will include 15-25 minutes of content with a Focus Action –  an action step that our attendees can do in roughly 30 minutes during a Focus Session sprint –, and up to a 3-minute pitch for your services

Recorded presentations will be released early every morning. We are suggesting our attendees watch a presentation during the first sprint of a Focus Session and to do their FOCUS ACTION during the second sprint.

While the presentations themselves are pre-recorded, all speakers are encouraged to attend a private Q&A call at 12pm the day your presentation goes live (or the day we agreed upon). Megan will work with you directly to schedule a day for you to attend a breakout room. If you are unavailable, we will have an alternative option for a Facebook thread based on your talk.

This event is free to attend with attendees having the option to upgrade to our paid VIP FOCUS KIT.

COMMUNITY

Along with the recorded presentations and live interactions, there will be a Facebook group for attendees to hang out in, hold each other accountable, ask questions, and share experiences. If attendees have good questions while your presentation is going on, you can choose to go live in the Facebook group for a bit of an encore to answer those questions, connect with the attendees, and provide even more value.

The additional Facebook live is not required, but of course you're more than welcome to join us to network with attendees! They always love that!

PROMOTION

Leading up to the summit, we’ll have two weeks of promotion. You’ll be provided with email swipe copy, social media swipe copy, and social media graphics to make it all easy! As a speaker, you are required to promote at least once to your email list, and once on social media. Past experience has shown us that the more you promote, the higher your affiliate commissions! I'll even have a suggested posting/sending schedule for you to make promo easy to outsource to a VA.

During the promotion phase, as the summit is running, and for a few days after the summit is complete, we’ll also be selling the VIP Focus Kit, our All-Access Pass which includes ongoing access to presentations as well as extra bonuses we'll all team up to throw in. VIPs will also have access to exclusive sessions with the speakers and a networking session. This will provide immense value to our attendees while making the work of promoting and creating a presentation worthwhile by allowing you to bring in affiliate commissions right away. Woop!

What I'll need from you

So this all sounds great, buuuut what kind of work does it require of you? Let’s chat about it! My goal is to make this all as easy as humanly possible so we can all have a blast while providing great value and growing our businesses.

1. Basic Information

The first thing I’ll need is some initial information from you so I can finish up our registration page and Speakers page.

This initial information includes:

  • Name
  • Title
  • Bio
  • Square headshot
  • Subject you will talk about
  • A 1-page summary of your presentation (for the VIP Focus Kit)

Once you give me the thumbs up that you’re in, I’ll send you a link where you can upload all this information easily.

2. Presentation Q&A Schedule

Next thing is to make sure you have your presentation Q&A scheduled. Even though all presentations are pre-recorded, we would love for you to attend a private Q&A call at 12pm the day your presentation goes live (or the day we agreed upon). Megan will work with you directly to get this scheduled.

3. Presentation

Next up is your presentation! This is a 15-25 minute pre-recorded presentation that is meant to be more friendly and action-packed than perfect and strategically structured. We want our attendees to learn something great while having fun in the process.

Please structure your content in a way that allows attendees to walk away feeling like they've really learned something, rather than a webinar format where they feel like they're missing something that they need to buy from you asap

With that being said, you have your choice of the following presentation formats:

  • Slides
  • No slides (just your gorgeous/handsome face)
  • A mix of the two

No matter what format you choose, you are free to use your presentation however you’d like in the future.

Your presentation should include great, actionable content. Here’s the suggested format:

  • A super quick introduction
  • An overview of your topic and how it will help attendees in creating their repeatable best week ever
  • Where people go wrong with your topic and tend to over-complicate it
  • Teaching section
  • Focus Action: a specific action step that our attendees can do in roughly 30 minutes during a Focus Session sprint. We want attendees to leave the week with things DONE and a repeatable process that feels productive and profitable 
  • Up to a 3-minute pitch
  • Include questions for attendees to engage in the Facebook group i.e. "share with us", "post with us", "tell us", etc. 
  • A 1-page summary of your presentation – this will include a short paragraph overview of your talk, 3-5 bullet points on your main topics, the Focus Action you gave them to work on, and an optional link to your opt-in. This page will only be available to attendees who upgrade to the VIP Focus Kit. Our team will turn your summary into a summit branded worksheet with your contact information. This information will be collected through the speaker presentation form.

While you are welcome to pitch absolutely anything you'd like, I recommend a freebie that is highly related to your presentation topic and helps them continue to move forward with what they'll learn from your presentation. This will increase the likelihood that they'll opt-in to your email list. From there, you can have a tripwire and funnel set up to start making sales from your new leads right away! 4. VIP FOCUS KIT CONTRIBUTION

The VIP FOCUS KIT, our All Access Pass, will be a huge addition to the presentations we’re running and a great way for you to collect additional leads (learn how here) by providing a bonus. This includes things like:

  • Templates
  • eBooks
  • Workbooks
  • Courses (big or small)
  • 1-3 month memberships

It’s totally up to you to decide whether you’d like to create something new or provide something you already have. While this isn’t required, it’s highly encouraged that you participate. (Please note that coupon codes requiring customers to purchase your offer for a discount cannot be accepted.)

This is also a great way for you to get warm leads onto your email list. Anyone who purchases and redeems your contribution, is one more warm lead you have for your funnel!

Speakers who do contribute a premium resource (aka something others would have to pay for on your site) usually see an increase in conversion after the summit.

Information for these resources is due on August 26th.. You'll receive a questionnaire form to fill out closer to that time to make passing the information to me nice and simple.

5. Promotion

The power of an online summit comes from a group of experts coming together for a single cause. The joint promotion that happens because of that is a huge benefit to everyone involved.

Because of that, we'll have an official promotion period starting on September 12. (We will begin promoting the summit on September 6 to make sure all the bugs are worked out, before you start sending your people our way!)

Sharing is required at least once to your email list and once to your social media profile. The more we promote, the higher the conversion rate from sign-ups to sales, it's definitely worth promoting!

When you do share, be sure to use your affiliate link (which you can set up here) so you can get in on the 50% commission that will come from any VIP Focus Kit sales.

Do NOT edit the affiliate link. Anything other than the link given will not track your referrals. 

I am also happy to collaborate to help you promote. For example, I can take over your Instagram stories, come on your podcast, write a guest newsletter, or do a live in your Facebook group (all with your affiliate link) to help you get some extra conversions!

You’ll find swipe copy and graphics in the Resource Vault once the summit is a bit closer.

6. Live Participation

And last comes participation during the week of the event. Since we’ll already have done the work of creating the presentations and extra resources, we’ll be able to sit back and relax for the most part!

All I ask is that you attend a 12pm PST Live Q&A Session, preferably on the day that your presentation goes live, if it works with your schedule, to engage with our attendees and answer any questions they may have. We also ask that you interact in the Facebook group the day your presentation goes live, (and if you can throughout the week) to help attendees stay excited and engaged.

Affiliate Details

While summits are great for overall visibility and making new connections, a little extra income never hurts either, right?

That’s exactly why I’ve set up an affiliate program for the VIP Focus Kit, our paid All Access Pass, where you’ll receive a 50% commission from all sales from traffic you refer to the event. Payouts will be made by October 10.
